• The Turkish hazelnut market remains stable, but liquidity continues to be low. • Strong demand from local industries and supermarket chains supports firm prices due to the approaching Christmas season. • In export markets, demand is mainly focused on Q1 and Q2 of 2025. • Limited transactions are taking place for later positions as buyers are unwilling to pay the high premium carrying charges demanded by shippers.
According to the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association, Turkish hazelnut exports total quantity is 254,000 tons with a USD value of 2,06 billion.
