Tomato exports were restricted till 14 April 2023
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry restricted tomato exports until April 14, 2023 in order to ensure food supply security and price stability, citing the increase in tomato prices and the earthquake.

for the 2026 crop, Taris announced an advance price of 80 lira per kilo for seedless dried grapes, regardless of quality.
The 2026 olive harvest is expected to start earlier than last year thanks to favorable weather conditions and the trees being well-rested.
