In the current article received from the İzmir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry on the subject, it is stated that the 80,000-ton tariff quota for Dried Purple and Silver Onions was canceled by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and its exports were stopped.
In the same article, it is further stated that Phytosanitary Certificate and Health Certificate will not be issued for Dry Onion export applications made with the 070310190011 GTIP code, except for the transactions that have started with the exemptions specified in the appendix (an application has been made to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry or to the TAREKS system).
