In April, hen egg production increased by 3.6% and turkey meat production increased by 0.3% while chicken meat production decreased by 9.4% and number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 12.7% compared with the same month of the previous year. In January-April period, hen egg production increased by 3.8%, chicken meat production decreased by 4.2%, turkey meat production decreased by 7.1% and number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 7.8% compared with the same period of the previous year.
