Chicken meat production was 191 thousand 807 tonnes, hen egg production was 1.73 billion units.
In January, hen egg production increased by 3.3% while chicken meat production decreased by 3.8%, number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 6% and turkey meat production decreased by 16.2% compared with the same month of the previous year.
Hen egg production declined by 1.1% in January compared to the previous month and decreased from 1 billion 745 million 979 thousand units to 1 billion 727 million 224 thousand units.
