Olive oil exports decreased by 68 percent in quantity compared to the same period last year between 1 and 30 November.
While 10 thousand 827 tons of olive oil were exported in November last year, 3 thousand 488 tons were exported in the same period this year. The average liter price of olive oil exports increased from 4.01 dollars to 6.92 dollars in the same period.
The coming days will be active in olive and olive oil production. The producer does not want to sell the oil he has with the expectation that prices will rise. Exporters are trying to fulfill their commitments. Consumers complain about rising prices. The issue of olive oil will continue to be on the agenda in the coming days.
