According to a statement by our Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, as a result of technical discussions and negotiations initiated between Turkey and the Republic of South Africa in 2018, an agreement has been reached on a Veterinary Health Certificate for the export of milk and dairy products between the two countries, effective March 2026.
Furthermore, it was emphasized that this development is of strategic importance in terms of expanding the access of Turkish dairy products to global markets, increasing export volume, and contributing to the sustainable growth of the sector.
